Local Children Ministry Director to sit on roof over the weekend

Children Ministry Director Mike Onstott from Gering's Northfield Church was Tuesday morning's guest on News Extra.  Mike will be "locked out" on top of the church for the weekend to help raise funds for the Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge.  BGMC is supported by donations from churches across the country with funds helping missionaries around the world.  Northfield Church has a goal of $2,000 for 2012.

BGMC meets critical needs not only in other countries around the world, but here in the USA as well.  Partnering with other organizations such as Speed the Light and Convoy of Hope, they have had teams deployed in natural disasters such as Hurricane Katrina, as well as the tornado that devastated Joplin, Missouri.  For more information about the Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge, go online to http://bgmc.ag.org.

Donations will be accepted at any time, however additional volunteers will be at the church during the following times.  Friday 11 am to 1 pm and 5 pm to 7 pm.   Saturday 11 am to 1 pm and 5 pm to 7 pm.  Sunday 4 pm to 6 pm.  June 29th - July 1st.

All donations go directly to the Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge.
