Jeni Stansbury, Volunteer Coordinator with the DOVES Program was guest on News Extra Thursday morning. They are seeking volunteers in a number of areas.
The DOVES Program serves 9 counties including Scotts Bluff, Cheyenne, Morrill, Kimball, Banner, Box Butte, Dawes, Sheridan and Sioux. The program serves women, children and men that are experiencing domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking.
Volunteers being sought are for a part time relief receptionist, heavy haulers who can help them move donations of furniture, etc., some savvy shoppers to help them go out and hunt for bargains and do the purchasing for the program, community connections, and they are seeking members for their Board of Directors.
