Barbara Martinson was guest on Thursday morning's News Extra program.

She was here to promote the 10th Anniversary "Festival of Hope" event on June 16th at the Scotts Bluff County Fairgrounds Event Center.

The event starts at 7:30 a.m. with the walk/run. Booths open at 8 a.m.

This year's event will feature, for the first time, a concert. The entertainer will be country music sensation Sammy Kershaw. The concert starts at 6 p.m. with opening act Ben Treffer.

Concessions will be available as well.

Tickets are $20 for adults; Children 6-12 $10; and five and under free.
Tickets available at all Platte Valley Bank locations; Westco Main Office in Alliance, Cancer Treatment Center in Scottsbluff; Wolf Auto Center in Kimball; Tri-County Bank in Cheyenne.

All proceed benefit the Festival of Hope.
