Clips for a Cause featured on News Extra program

Each year, 10,400 kids are diagnosed with some type of pediatric cancer. The Scottsbluff DECA chapter is selling "Clips for a Cause" which raises awareness and funds for "Team Ashtyn"...a local foundation that provides assistance to cancer patients and families.

The clips are sold at the Scottsbluff basketball games, and at the Scottsbluff DECA school store. The Bearcat clips are a "C" with the paw prints and the Gering clips are a "G". Each clip also lights up. They are a great way to support your team and a very important charity and cause.

Scottsbluff DECA project managers for "Clips for a Cause" Jeslynn Kearney, Briana Vallejo, Megan Patrick and Mattea Schmidt were guests on News Extra Tuesday morning to talk about the clips.

Feel free to contact them at the Scottsbluff High School at 308-635-6200. You may also contact Scottsbluff DECA advisor, Mr. Derek Deaver at the same number. Or for more information and updates go to facebook.com/Clips for a Cause.
