We talked about upcoming Community Theater event at the theater, this month's screening of "Daisy Bates: First Lady of Little Rock" on this Thursday, January 26th at 7:30 p.m. This will follow the Annual Meeting of the Friends of the Midwest Theater, which will be held at 5:30 p.m. Billy said the agenda will include election of officers and new board members, year-end reports, and information about their move to "digital".
We discussed the Cannes Film Festival hit film "Melancholia", which will show at the Midwest Theater this weekend. It runs January 27th through the 29th.
We also talked about cellist Zoe Keating, who will perform at the theater on February 17th.
And we talked about Billy's recent trip to the Sundance Festival.
